Who it's for
Just picked up sticks, or already chasing Meshuggah? Every song on Woodshed answers the three questions you actually have:
How we rate
Every song gets a score from 1–10 for drums, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass and keys — the same scale whether it's Metallica or Meshuggah, so a 6.4 means the same amount of work no matter which band or instrument you're looking at. Scores weigh speed, stamina, technique and how long you have to hold it together, and every song gets a one-line note on exactly what makes it hard. Track listings are checked album by album against two independent sources before anything is scored — standard editions only, no live records, no compilations.
